Wanda Jean Williams, 90, of New Martinsville, WV died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 while at Genesis New Martinsville.
Wanda was born May 6, 1929 in Charleston, WV; daughter of the late William C. and Mabel (Morton) Comer.
She was a retired decaler for Corning Glass, later worked for five years at the former Colin-Anderson; loved children and was a member of the Antioch Christian Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Williams; son, George A. Williams; brother, James Comer and two sisters, Virginia Mooney and Phyllis McCutheon.
Surviving are son, William C. (Lori) Williams of New Martinsville, WV; three daughters, Rebecca (Greg) Swords of Wheeling, WV, Teresa (Bill) Thorn and Judy (Wayne) Mason both of New Martinsville, WV; eleven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; one great-great grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 3-8 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019 with Lemoyne Horner officiating. Burial to follow in Friendly Cemetery.
