Obituary for Eugene Franklin "Gene" Howell
Eugene F. Howell, 80, of Paden City, WV died Thursday, May 23, 2019 while at Care Haven.
Gene was born September 11, 1938 in New Martinsville WV; son of the late Howard Howell and Stella (Stewart) Judge.
He was a retired crane operator for the former Ormet, he loved hunting, fishing and going to the Smokies and was a member of the Paden City Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-father, Ralph Judge and sister, Shirley Kincaid.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-one years Phyllis (Stutler) Howell; three daughters, Kathy (Andy) McDowell of Williamstown, WV, Mindy (Mike) Hogue and Angie (Jim) Long both of Middlebourne, WV; sister, Judy (Jim) Rizor of New Freeport, PA; brother, Butch (Sophia) Judge of Sistersville, WV; six grandchildren, Meleah (Jeremy) Raymond, Broc Hissam, Tyler Long, Amelia (Mitch) Mossor, Kylie (Jordan) Palmer and Michael Hogue; ten great grandchildren, Kurtis and Sydney Bostaph, Kaili Allen, Emma, Finley and Hollyn Palmer, Keegan Ebert and Urijah Mossor, Mariah and Nevaeh Raymond and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received noon-6 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Paden City Christian Church. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.
