Obituary for David L. Probst
David L. Probst, 80, of Sardis, OH went to meet his Savior on Monday, May 27, 2019 while at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
David was born May 13, 1939 in Sardis, OH; son of the late Charles and Lucy (Hissom) Probst.
He was a retired technician for the former Ormet corp., a devoted husband and father and member of the Sardis Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Probst.
Surviving are two sons, William Probst of Toledo, OH and Steven Probst of Sardis, OH; sister, Patty Jo (David) Stewart of Parkersburg, WV; two grandchildren, Steven Thomas Probst and Autumn Probst and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Sardis Church of Christ. Burial to be held at the convenience of the family in the Sardis Cemetery.
