Obituary for Terry Ray Kiggans
Terry Ray Kiggans, 79, of Paden City, WV went to meet his Savior on Thursday, July 4, 2019 while at Wetzel County Hospital.
Terry was born May 9, 1940 at home in Pine Grove, WV; son of the late Floyd “Dutch” and “Kate” (Holbert) Kiggans.
He was a retired accountant for Mobay, a U.S. Navy veteran, graduate of Pine Grove High School, attended WVU and completed at Wheeling Jesuit, member of New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931 and of the American Legion Post 86 Paden City, volunteer for the Wetzel County Animal Shelter and Open Door Ministries, received Volunteer of the Year award, enjoyed motorcycles, airplanes and WVU sports, was quite the jokester and member of New Martinsville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of sixty years, Shirley (Huston) Kiggans; three children, Tammy (Greg) Bowman of Greensburg, PA, Tracy (Dan) Mason of New Martinsville, WV and Scot (Debbie) Kiggans of Fort Mill, SC; two grandsons, Zach Bowman and Shane Mason; brother-in-law, Paul (Patty) Huston of Hundred, WV and several cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2019 with Pastor Stephen Rector officiating. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City.
