Mabel L. Zeno, 88, of Neffs, OH went to meet her Savior Saturday, August 31, 2019 while at her home and surrounded by her family.
Mabel was born November 26, 1930 in McClainsville, OH; daughter of the late Clyde and Minnie (Klaymen) Shaffer.
She was floor associate for the former Berman’s in Bellaire and currently an attendant for the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, a homemaker, girl scout leader for many years, member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 77, member of Catholic Women’s Club, St. Francis Society and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church until it’s closing and now St. John’s Catholic Church in Bellaire.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Conny John Zeno, Sr.; daughter, Paula Zeno; three sisters, Bertha, Dorothy and Minnie “Boots”; two brothers, Frank and Clyde “Junior” and grandson, Scott Coyne.
Surviving are her four children, Rose Ann (Mike) Coyne of Bellaire, OH, Mary Kay (Roger) Jackson, Conny (Cheryl) Zeno, Jr. and Joe (Cindy) Zeno all of Neffs, OH; six grandchildren, Casey, Joey, Renee, Doug, Rosa and Todd; twelve great grandchildren, Abby, Christopher, Jake, Jocelyn, Alair, Rhianna, Giovanna, Adrianna, Ashlyn, Luca, Keiran and Quentin and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 3-7 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 441 Thirty-Seventh St., Bellaire, OH. Vigil service will be held at 7:45 p.m., Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs, OH with Fr. Daniel Heusal as celebrant. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, OH.
