Obituary for Nancy Joan Chambers (Pryor)

Nancy Joan Chambers, 88, of Paden City, WV died Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her home while surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born November 21, 1930 in Tyler Co., WV; daughter of the late Floyd “Rudy” and Hester (Heslep) Pryor.

She was a homemaker, life time member of Paden City Garden Club, member of the American Legion Auxiliary Paden City Unit 86, a former pianist for her church and member of the Paden City Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Chambers; son, Grant Neff; sister, Betty Pryor Sullivan; son-in-law, Herman Wade and daughter-in-law, Marla Neff.

Surviving are two sons, Chris Neff and Brent Neff both of Paden City, WV; daughter, Susan Wade of Paden City, WV; step-son, William Chambers of Charleston, WV; two step-daughters, Kay Webb of Spring Hill, TN and Nancy Springer of Paden City, WV; six grandchildren; several step grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City where services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 with Martin Coffey officiating. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.
