Obituary for Roberta "Bobbie" Louise Dudley (Blake)
Roberta “Bobbie” L. Dudley, 74, of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, September 25, 2019 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Bobbie was born December 2, 1944 in Wheeling, WV; daughter of the late Robert L. and Angela (Fryer) Blake.
She was a homemaker, did work for the former Hills Dept. and Ames Dept. stores, enjoyed going shopping for kids and tanning at the pool, absolutely adored ALL children and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael A. Blake and grandson, Justin M. Long.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Charles “Jim” Dudley; four children, Becky (Pat) Lindsay of Gastonia, NC, Debbie Berisford, James (Christie) Dudley and Jaime (Dennis) Long all of New Martinsville, WV; eight grandchildren and three special grandchildren, Joshua Robinson, Patric Lindsay, Kayla Dudley, Taylour Dudley-Laipply, Kaylee Williams, Jason Long, Jesse Long, Joel Hatfield, Sebastian Stickler, Marcus Barnes and Aleah Stapel; seven great grandcildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to her passion, which is children, to New Martinsville School, 20 E Benjamin Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
