We just learned of Izzy’s passing. She was such a dear person. When my husband and I married, our reception was non traditional, she made us apple pies! Bought lots of pies from her. Treasure your memories and when your heart feels empty and all alone fill it with those memories. 🙏🏻😇

My parents, Sue and Chuck Crookshanks, knew both Coke and Izzie while living here in Paden City. Their variety store was one of my fondest memories of them and also having occasional "drop in" visits by them to see Mom after Dad passed away. My parents enjoyed their company and I did as well. Your Mom will be sadly missed and I pray for God to bless and comfort you!
