Kellon Dwayne “K.D.” Ritchea age 56 of New Martinsville, West Virginia passed away, after a short battle with cancer, October 30, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital. “KD” was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Carl and Edna Ritchea of New Martinsville, West Virginia and maternal grandparents Clarence and Genevieve Amos also of New Martinsville, West Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years JoDell (Yoho) Ritchea. His son Ryan (Danielle) and granddaughter, Kaylee Joretta of Columbus, Ohio. His parents James Larry and Hazel Joretta of New Martinsville, West Virginia. His sister Karlene (Albert) Loy of New Martinsville, West Virginia. His niece Brittany (Adam) Ferrell and their son Everett James of Proctor, West Virginia. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
He was a thirty year employee of Precision, Inc. in Sistersville. He was an avid hunter, a sport that began at the early age of 5. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he was a Protestant by faith. Member of United Steel Workers Union and New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931.
Celebration of his life will be 1-4 and 6 until time of service at 8 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville.
