Obituary for Earl William Billiter
Earl William Billiter, 82, of Sardis, OH died Monday, November 11, 2019 while at home.
Earl was born October 26, 1937 in Sardis, OH; son of the late Clarence and Wilma (Martie) Billiter.
Earl was a retired cast house worker for the former Ormet, veteran having served in the Army Reserve, served as a Township Trustee for over twenty years, enjoyed raising beef cattle, working on the farm and served on the Monroe County Democrat Committee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandson, Hunter Wiley.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Ruth (Kurtzman) Billiter; daughter, Holly (Matt) Snively of Detroit, MI; three sons, Todd (Sonya) Billiter and Danny Billiter both of Sardis, OH and Travis Billiter of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Mary Koren of Vero Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Zachary, Noah, Amanda, Alex and Sammy; two great grandchildren, Shane and Wyatt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019. Burial to follow in the West Union Cemetery near Sardis, OH.
