Obituary for Susan Loraine McCoy (Underwood)
Susan L. McCoy of New Martinsville, WV went to meet her Savior on Thursday, February 6, 2020 while at Wheeling Hospital while surrounded by her family.
Susan was born February 17th in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Opal (Fisher) Underwood.
She was a homemaker, a graduate of Valley High School, made the best peanut butter fudge, loved her church and her family and was a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon K. Bokey.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-five years, Ron McCoy; son Ron (Lori) McCoy and daughter Elizabeth (Clark) Melott both of New Martinsville, WV; her favorite granddaughter, Alivia Melott of Parkersburg, WV; brother, Bradley Underwood; brother-in-law, Floyd Bokey, Jr. of Clarksburg, WV and several friends.
Friends received 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Bridge Street Church of Christ, 1139 South Bridge St., New Martinsville, with Paolo Di Luca officiating. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
