Obituary for Patty Sue Sebar (King)

Patty Sue (King) Sebar, 87, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, March 9, 2020 while surrounded by her family.

Patty was born April 18, 1932 in New Martinsville, WV, daughter of the late Opal King Carney.

She worked at C & P Telephone Company, Corning Glass, Wetzel County Hospital, Drs. Suyao and the New Martinsville Clinic. She was a member of the New Martinsville Moose #931 and Sistersville VFW Post 6327. She loved boating, camping, sewing and dancing. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Martinsville.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George “Sonny” Sebar; daughter, Teresa Sebar; grandson, Matt Sebar; and sister, Mary Talbot.

Surviving are two sons, Timothy W. Sebar of New Martinsville, WV and George Todd Sebar of Shadyside, OH; two daughters, Antoinette “Toni” (James) Long and Traci (Chuck) Ludewig both of New Martinsville, WV; Sister, Erica (Joe) Moellendick; twelve grandchildren, Megan Sebar, Jamie Long, Aaron (Alana) Long, Amanda Long, Evann (Jon) Jacks, Padyn Ludewig, Taylor Ludewig, George Tyler Sebar, Josh Robinson, Paige Robinson and Jacob Bohrer; great-granddaughter, Lenieca Grimm; great-grandsons, Dominic Long, Reid Long; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are welcome 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
