Obituary for Patricia Eldora "Pat" Wade (Sorsby)
Patricia E. Wade, 80, of New Martinsville, WV passed Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at her home while surrounded by her family.
Pat was born September 2, 1939 in Wheeling, WV; daughter of the late William Sorsby and Grace G. (Harman) Sorsby Scott.
She was a homemaker; enjoyed dancing, growing and caring for all types of flowers, participating with the Ladies Auxiliary and watching her daughters sing karaoke. She loved and adored her grandkids and she attended the New Martinsville Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Wade and two grandsons, Nicholas and Kyle Thomas.
Surviving are her five children, Jeff Wade, Kim Delvecchio (Aaron Birtcher), Laurie (Norm) Riggs and Christy (Matt) Bland all of New Martinsville, WV and Jamie (Kristy) Wade of Sistersville, WV; two brothers, Bill (Connie) Sorsby and Don (Debbie) Powell both of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, T.J. Wade, Emily Wade, Dylan Miller and Chase Delvecchio and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Garden in Paden City, WV.
