Obituary for Mary Jo Cross (Anderson)
Mary Jo Cross, 79, of Paden City, WV died Tuesday, March 17, 2020 while at Acuity Care in Bellaire, OH.
Mary Jo was born April 26, 1940 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Harvey and Nellie (Copenhaver) Anderson.
She was a homemaker; loved reading, shopping, going to the beach and playing with her grandchildren and member of Bridge Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Anderson.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-seven years, R. Lee Cross; son, Rodney Cross of Hartwell, GA; daughter, Susan (Jeff) Stackpole of Paden City, WV; sister, Sharon (Dan) Knowlton of Paden City, WV; six grandchildren, Krista Bennett, Tyler (Megan) Stackpole, Allie Cross, Jordan Stackpole, Kelsey Cross and Bryson Stackpole; three great grandchildren, Brayden, Kinlee and Easton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Mary Jo’s request private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City.
