Obituary for Lenard Melvin Billiter
Lenard Melvin Billiter, 69, of Paden City, WV died Friday, April 3, 2020 while at Wheeling Hospital.
Melvin was born July 14, 1950 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late Francis Floyd and Minnie Elizabeth (Stead) Billiter.
He was the founder and operator of Dependable Cleaning Service since 1980, a U.S. Navy veteran, enjoyed being in business and earning money, traveling and eating out and attended the Living Water Baptist Church in Sardis, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Loretta (Fitzsimmons) Billiter (2014).
Surviving are his daughter, Shawna (Willy) Reed of Joplin, MO; two brothers, Francis (Carolyn) Billiter, Jr. of Clarington, OH and James (Connie) Billiter of Paden City, WV; three grandchildren, Joel Blake, Ryann Blake and Anthony Winans and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Corona Virus a graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville. Arrangements entrusted to the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Melvin’s name, to Paden City Volunteer Fire Company, 208 W Main St., Paden City, WV 26159.
