Danuel Lee Elliott, Sr. of Paden City, WV passed away Saturday, May 17, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 26, 1936 the son of Rosevelt and Dolly (Swiger) Elliott.
Danuel was retired from Bayer Corporation with thirty-three years of service. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Sistersville Elks Lodge 333 and the Sistersville VFW Post 6327. He was a Protestant.
He was extremely patriotic. He loved his fellow Veterans and honored and respected the American flag.
He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s school and sporting activities. He loved the Pittsburgh Pirates and WVU football and basketball. He will be dearly missed by his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Darren Lee Elliott; brothers, Ralph Wayne Elliott and Robert Gary Elliott and sisters, Betty M. Allison and Audra Nolan.
Surviving are his wife of thirty-eight years, Elizabeth “Betsy” Elliott of Paden City. He is survived by his sister, Doris A. Neff of Paden City and brother, John (Martha) Elliott of Wilmington, NC. Also surviving is one daughter, Kimberly (John) Riggins of Surprize, AZ; three sons, Danuel (Peggy) Elliott of Glen Dale, WV, David (Krista) Elliott of Moundsville, WV and Darrell Elliott of Glen Dale, WV and step-son, Kenneth (Jasmine) Rea of Collingswood, NJ.
Twelve grandchildren, Amanda (Frank) Willis of Blairsville, PA, Josh (Melinda) Elliott of Monessen, PA, Rebecca (Paul) Mastarone of Cranberry TWP, PA, Michael (Sarah) Booth of Winchester, TN, Brooke (Avery) Brightwell of Surprize, AZ, Marah (Jason) Utt of New Martinsville, WV, Chelsea (Johnny) Greathouse of New Martinsville, WV, Madison (Logan) Elliott of Moundsville, WV, Abigail Elliott of Moundsville, WV, Cody (Morgan) Elliott of New Martinsville, WV. Two step-grandchildren, Cameron and Kordelia Rea from Collingswood, NJ. Eighteen great grandchildren. A special sister-in-law, Judith K. Austin of Sun City, CA and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
