Obituary for Onalee Henthorn (Pittman)

Onalee Henthorn, 91, of Paden City, WV died Thursday, June 11, 2020 at her home.

Onalee was born September 7, 1928 in Paden City, WV; daughter of the late George M. and Madeline (Malone) Pittman.

She was a homemaker that loved to quilt and cook, a selfless woman who enjoyed giving, a beloved grandmother who loved and supported her grandchildren, who adored her and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Henthorn and son, Chris Henthorn.

Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Henthorn of Paden City, WV; two daughters, Barbara (Charles) Racer of Paden City, WV and Marsha (Tom) Kemp of Coraopolis, PA; three brothers, Stanley (Patsy) Pittman of Vienna, WV, John (Belle) Pittman of New Martinsville, WV and Wm. Bruce (Sally) Pittman of St. Louis., MO; three sisters, Rosalee Forrester and Dorothy (Ronald) Wilcox both of Middlebourne, WV and Kay (Roger) Goddard of Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, Bradley (Jamie) Racer, Elizabeth (Troy) Kearney, Brianne Devine, Katie Kemp, Jonathan (Nicole) Kemp and Geena Henthorn; great grandchildren, Drew, Kaiden and Amos Racer; Onalee and Emerson Kearney; Luke and Leighton Devine; and Kai Christopher Kemp and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to her care givers who have become part of her family, Beverly Roberts, Linda Mason, Patty Baker, Jeanne Mason and Rosie Yoho and also Betty Shepherd and Lisa Beaty.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
