Obituary

Wilma “Vicky” Wade, 79, of New Martinsville, WV died Sunday, July 26, 2020 while at Wheeling Hospital.

Vicky was born December 11, 1940 in Cleveland, OH; daughter of late William James and Geraldine (Jones) Johnson.

She was a retired CNA, a homemaker, loved playing BINGO and cards and a Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Wade; step-son, Larry Wade and grandson, Justin Wade.

Surviving are her seven children, David McCloskey and Edward McCloskey both of Paris, TN, Jim Wade of Yorkville, OH, James Wade of Columbus, OH, Karen McFarland of Reader, WV, Mark Wade of Florida and Gloria Wade of Virginia; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Funeral service 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Northview Cemetery.
