Obituary for John Allen "Oy" McDonnell
John “Oy” Allen McDonnell, 54, of Paden City, WV died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 he was surrounded by his family.
Oy was born March 23, 1966 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late Leo and Marlene (Johnston) McDonnell.
He was technician working with Action Gaming, loved riding the ridges and member of the Paden City Eagles Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Brittany (Joe) Hagy and their children, Luciana, Elowyn and Sutton of Huntington, WV; stepdaughter, Amelia Murner and her children, Tristan and Brooks of St. Marys, WV; three brothers, Roy McDonnell of Paden City, WV, David McDonnell of Arlington, VA and George (Elizabeth) McDonnell of Paden City, WV; two sisters, Patty McDonnell of Pittsburgh, PA and Sue (Mark) Tennant of Paden City, WV; two half-brothers, Leo McDonnell and Gary (Linda) McDonnell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Oy’s request there will be no services. A special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and his aide Charmion Howell
