Obituary for Edward Montford "Ed" Stewart
Edward M. Stewart, 87, of Hannibal, OH passed in the comfort of his home on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Edward was born April 2, 1933 in Bridgeport, OH; son of the late Clarence and Leona (Williams) Stewart.
He was the founder of Stewart’s Home Cleaning, very involved with his church the First Church of God in New Martinsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings. Richard Stewart, Albert Stewart, Duane Stewart, Glen Stewart, Jack Stewart, Evelyn Shelek and Vera Stewart.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-four years, M. Sharon Stewart; son, Jonathan (Racquel) Stewart of Brookville, OH; daughter, Shawna (Mike) Matusik of Sardis, OH; sister, Rebecca (Frank) Sall of Cadiz, OH, sister-in-laws, Sue Stewart and Opal Stewart; eight grandchildren, Landon Stewart, Lucy Stewart, Noah Stewart, Nora Stewart, Luke Matusik, Ally Matusik, Michael Matusik and Chelsea Kuhn and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the First Church of God, 255 Russell Ave., New Martinsville, WV.
Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in New Martinsville.
