Obituary for Raymond "Pete" Huggins Jr.

Raymond “Pete” Huggins, August 2, 1973 – February 5, 2021, 47, Pete died after nineteen weeks of battling complications from Covid-19 while in Wheeling Hospital.

Pete graduated from Magnolia High School. He went to Northwood. Pete’s life will amaze you. He loved listening to music with Michael Jackson being one of his favorite artist, Halloween was his favorite holiday, loved scary movies, flipping belts, was fascinated with demolition derbies, Town and Country Days was his favorite fair. He loved his nieces.

Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Marshall and Ida Mae Dyer, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Nancy Weekley and Wayne Koerber; two aunts, Marsha Berisford and Jeannie Eddy and uncle, Ronnie Dyer.

Surviving are his parents, Alta and Jerry Koerber; brother, Jason (Ashley) Huggins; two favorite nieces, Karlie and Phebie Huggins; aunts, Janice (Fred) Doran, Patty (Mark) Sands, Cindy (Danny) Hooper, Jackie (Dom) Garuccio, Della Dyer, Nettie (Pete) Gulley, Tara Smith; uncles, Carl (Pat) Dyer, George Dyer, Nelson Eddy, John (Barb) Koerber, Joe (Peg) Koerber, Wayne (Chris) Koerber and Tom (Robin) Weekley; special friend, Carol Harrison and several other family members and friends too numerous to list.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery.
