Obituary for James Spooner Meacham Jr.
James Spooner Meacham, Jr., 73, of New Martinsville, WV died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 while at Sistersville Hospital.
James was born November 5, 1947 in Oneida, NY; son of the late James S. and Hazel Marie (Streeter) Meacham, Sr.
He worked for a company that built fire engines, collected baseball and football cards and an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
He is survived by daughter, Jennifer Meacham of New Martinsville and two daughters and a son; seven brothers, Dan (Linda) Meacham of St. Petersburg, FL, Andrew Meacham of Oneida, NY, Timothy (Connie) Meacham of Henderson, NV, Thomas (Kathleen) Meacham of New Baltimore, NY, Michael Meacham of Hamilton, NY, Steven (Brandi) Meacham of Cedarville, OH, Theodore Meacham of Verona, NY; one sister, Holly Stratton of Munnsville, NY; brother-in-law, Tim Knight of New Martinsville, WV and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Acts Charitable Mission Church, 400 N Main St., New Martinsville. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
