Obituary for Michael Shane Anderson
Michael Anderson, 44, of New Martinsville, WV passed suddenly as the result of a heart attack on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.
Michael was born August 15, 1976 in Glen Dale, WV; son of the late Donna Kay Anderson.
He had been a supervisor for Litman Construction, member of Broken Timber Outdoor Education Center and former member of New Martinsville Moose #931, enjoyed camping, fishing, riding four wheelers and golf carts, square body Chevrolets, wood working and spending time with his daughter. He attended Lighthouse Community Church and Laurel Point Methodist Church. Michael enjoyed sharing a good campfire with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Alvie Blaine and Naomi Campbell and maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Ocenia Ebert.
Surviving are his wife of nine years, Bobbi (White) Anderson; daughter, Chloe Shae Anderson; brother, Marky Anderson of Sistersville, WV; two sisters, Melissa Anderson and Zoe (Bob) Rogers both of Proctor, WV; two special brothers, Roy Litton and Michael Colter both of New Martinsville, WV and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6 until time of service at 8 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Michael’s name, to Lighthouse Community Church, 249 Maple Ave., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
