Obituary for Chester Arvel "Chet" Richmond Jr.
Chester A. “Chet” Richmond, Jr., 78, of New Martinsville, WV died Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his home while surrounded by his family.
Chet was born December 17, 1942 in Weirton, WV; son of the late Chester A. and Margaret (Lantz) Richmond, Sr.
He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Air Force veteran, member of the New Martinsville Moose #931, Sistersville VFW, American Legion Marne Post #28 and the Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, whom he married on June 20, 1964, Candice (Paul) Richmond; son, Chester (Kim) Richmond, III of Moundsville, WV and Cristine Richmond of Manhattan, NY; brother, Alan (Patty) Richmond of Richwood, WV; sister, Mary Swiger of Bens Run, WV; two grandchildren, Ryan Richmond and Austin “AJ” Richmond and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Chet’s request there will be no services.
