Obituary for Johnnie Marvin "John" Kocher
Johnnie “John” M. Kocher, 69, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, July 29, 2021 while at Wheeling Hospital.
John was born May 2, 1952 in New Martinsville, WV, son of Fay M. (Hunt) Kocher of New Martinsville, WV and the late Roy E. Kocher.
He was a retired Chemical Operator for thirty-eight years with Mobay, an avid Yankees and Cowboys fan and a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Dr. Benjamin J. (Rebecca) Kocher of New Martinsville, WV and Andrea (Wesley) Vickers of Satsuma, AL; the mother of his children, Cindy A. Kocher of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Katie Kocher, Brady Kocher, Carson Kocher and Wyatt Vickers.
Friends received 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville.
