Gregory Scott Lancaster, 44, of Buck Run, WV left this earth August 3, 2021. Greg was surrounded by his neighbors and friends who aided him during his heart attack. He was later pronounced at Wetzel County Hospital.

Greg was born December 1, 1976 in Sistersville, WV. He graduated from Tyler County High School in 1995. After graduation, he was the owner and operator of Lancaster Logging.

Greg was a man of few words, but was willing to help anyone in need. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working on his equipment. He enjoyed having meals at his favorite places in town. He left us with many memories.

Greg is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary and Russell Myers; siblings, Melissa (Dan) Kimble, Meschelle (Daniel) Thompson and Adam (Kelly) Myers; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and two special canines, Tyson and Daisy.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Dwight “David” Lancaster; brother, Michael Lee Lancaster; paternal grandparents, Aldis and Shirley Lancaster and maternal grandparents, Ross and Wilda Paden.

Friends received 4-8 p.m., Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City with funeral at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City.
