Obituary for Barbara P. Baker
Barbara P. Baker, 74, of New Martinsville, WV died peacefully at her home on Monday, August 16, 2021.
Barbara was born February 6, 1947 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Carl and Lula (Gump) Minger.
She was a Water Clerk for the City of Paden City, enjoyed dancing, bowling and listening to Country Music and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie Jackson; sister, Phyllis Lemasters and two brothers, Clark Minger and Carl “Sonny” Minger, Jr.
Surviving are her two sons, Todd (Belinda) Baker of Paden City, WV and Brian (Rebecca) Baker of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Yeater of Midland, PA and Reva Lawrence of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Lawrence Minger of Martins Ferry, OH; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Association or Amedysis Hospice.
