Obituary for Nancy Jayne Davis
Nancy Jayne Davis, 64, of Proctor, WV died Monday, September 6, 2021 while at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
Nancy was born May 21, 1957 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late William C. and S. E. “Betty” (Baxter) Cross, Jr.
She was a shipping analyst for Laxess Company, loved her grandchildren, her faith and her family. She was a very thoughtful person. She was generous and so kind just wanting others to be happy. She was a member of the Proctor Christian Church.
Surviving is her son, Matt (Shannon) Lookadoo of Middlebourne, WV; daughter Christa (Franklin) King of Triadelphia, WV; three sisters, Linda (Jim) Simms of Mt. Clare, WV, Jean Mayfield of St. Marys, WV and Cheri (Mike) Acree of Proctor, WV; nine grandchildren, Aleeya, Rylee, Alexis, Matthew, Anthony, Aiden, Ethan, Owen and Camilla; nephew, Jimmy (Nicole) Simms; three nieces, Billie Jo (Matt) Haddox, Tiffany (Brett) Acree and Marcie (Eric) Kincaid.
Friends received noon – 2 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
