Obituary for Brenda Joann Williamson (Smith)
Brenda Joann Williamson, 72, of Sistersville, WV died peacefully Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home while surrounded by her family.
Brenda was born May 14, 1949 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Robert Earl and Elva (Reynolds) Smith.
She was a homemaker, a caretaker to all, very active with the Mission work performed at the former New Martinsville Church of the Nazarene, taught Sunday school for many years, volunteer for the Open Door Ministry, loved buying Christmas gifts for her grandchildren, appreciated her family, enjoyed singing and going to church and was a member of the ACTS Charitable Mission in New Martinsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bradley Smith and two nephews, Robbie L. Moore and David R. DeVore.
Surviving is her husband of fifty-five years, Ronald Williamson; son, Rich (Cami) Williamson of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Tammy (David) Coe of New Martinsville, WV; three brothers, Robert (Eleanor) Smith, Jr. of New Martinsville, WV, Garry (Sandy) Smith of Proctorville, OH and Joey (Denise) Smith of New Martinsville, WV; four sisters, Donna Yoho of Sistersville, WV, Carol Moore of New Martinsville, WV, Debbie (Dale) Murphy of Sardis, OH and Chari Lynch of New Martinsville, WV; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the ACTS Charitable Mission, Main Street, New Martinsville. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville. Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in New Martinsville.
