Russell Alan Masters, 64, of Belmont, WV died Monday, September 20, 2021 at his home while surrounded by his family.

Russell was born September 8, 1957 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late Charles R. and Freda E. (Loy) Masters.

He was a member of the WV Dept. of Highways where he took pride in keeping his community safe during snow season. He was an avid outdoors man and loved playing and listening to the music of his generation. Russ also had a deep faith in Jesus Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Masters.

Surviving is his wife of forty-three years, Dorothy (Ingold) Masters; five children, Christopher (Carla) Masters of Belmont, WV, Manzetta Masters of St Marys, WV, Jordan (Angel) Masters of St. Marys, WV, Tyler (Alyssa) Masters of Warrensburg, MO and Thomas Salisbury of Lewisburg, WV; brother, Anthony Masters of Cape Coral, FL and Ginger (T.C.) Rushing of Cape Coral, FL; nine grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV.
