Obituary for Robert Russell "Rob" Wager
Robert “Rob” Russell Wager, 68, of Paden City, WV died Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home.
Rob was born March 8, 1953 in Delhi, NY son of the late Russell and Emily (Gracey) Wager.
He was a retired Senior Chief Gunners Mate for the U.S. Navy, he enjoyed contractors painting, throwing horse shoes and tinkering about and he was a member of the Sistersville VFW Post 6327 and New Martinsville American Legion Marne Post 28.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ervin Wager.
Surviving are his son, Robert T. Wager of Winston, OR; daughter, Jennifer (Roger Lee) Wager Huffman of Portsmouth, VA; brother, Peter Wager of Delancey, NY; two sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Marrero and Coral (Charles) Shaddock both of Holyoke, MA; three grandchildren, Brianne Bell, Kailee Huffman and Olivia Wager; special friend, Bob Brown
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to your local VFW.
