Obituary for Joanne Elizabeth Mason (Sidell)
Joanne Elizabeth Mason, 89, of New Martinsville, WV went to meet her Savior on Sunday, October 17, 2021 while at Arbors in Woodfield, OH.
Joanne was born October 31, 1931 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Charles Ross and Luella (Blair) Sidell.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, gardening and all animals, but her passion was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A forty year plus member of TOPPS. Joanne was a very active member, in her younger days, at the New Martinsville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Mason, Jr. and brother, Chuck Sidell.
Surviving are her two sons, Mark (Joan) Mason of Paden City, WV and Brent (Anne) Mason of New Martinsville, WV; three grandchildren, Neil Thomas, Joshua C. and Hanna; two and half great grandchildren with the half coming in November.
Friends received 4-7 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 with Pastor Stephen Rector officiating. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville.
