Obituary for William Michael Pegg
William “Michael” Pegg, 56 of Zanesville, OH passed away on January 25, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 16, 1965 in Morgantown, WV. Son of William J. Pegg (Mary) of Frostburg, MD and Joyce Haines Pegg of Wheeling, WV.
Mike grew up in Frostburg, MD and graduated from Beall High School. Mike was a retired electrical super intendant at Bi-Con Services. He loved spending time fishing on his boat. He enjoyed raising cattle and riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers.
Mike is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Dean Pegg (2001).
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by five children. Robert Michael Pegg (Kara) of Frostburg, MD., Michael Andrew Pegg of Boston, MA., Joshua Pegg (Jennifer) of Oldtown, MD., William James Jacob Pegg of Grafton, WV, Taylor Grace Patterson of Hamlet, NC. Three grandchildren, Wyatt, Evelyn, and Gideon. Two brothers, John Mark Pegg of Vienna, WV, Christopher Matthew Pegg (Tracy) of Falling Waters, WV and a sister, Lisa Michelle Bartsch (Leo) of Wheeling, WV. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Friends received noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
