Obituary for Byron Lee Anderson

Byron Lee Anderson of Paden City, WV passed peacefully from this life on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the age of ninety years old. He was born on February 5, 1932 in Wana, WV to the late Charles and Eva Anderson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight siblings. He retired from Mobay Chemical in 1991 and spent many years doing his two favorite hobbies, trout fishing and woodworking. He was a Christian. He served in the United States Army after being drafted into the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Pat, three children, Debby (Steve) Space, Deena (Bob) Flowers and Scott (Libby) Anderson; three grandchildren, Derek Anderson, Jason Space and Trista (Ethan) Hulsey and eight great-grandchildren.

His love of trout fishing and woodworking has been passed down to, even to his great-grandchildren and will always be remembered.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to Sam, Phyllis and Amy of Ritchie Personal care Home for the kindness and wonderful care for the short time he was with them. Also, a thank you to Jimmy Weed for his care and kindness and to the girls at Journey Hospice.

Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 24, at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. Burial to follow in the Wadestown Cemetery in Wadestown, WV.
