Obituary for Jason Troy "Slug" Wade
Jason “Slug” Troy Wade, 48, of New Martinsville, WV passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Slug was born January 1, 1974 in Sistersville, WV son of Mary (Doty) Wade of New Martinsville, WV and the late Donald Wade.
He was a Tattoo Artist and a Christian by faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by nephew, Dustin Wade; mother-in-law, Betty Jo Watson and step-father, William Palmer.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of thirteen years, Mary Jo (Watson) Wade; three sons, Troy Kristopher Wade of New Martinsville, WV and Logan Wayne Watson of Wheeling, WV, Martin Baker of Loiusville, OH; six brothers, Brian Wade, Warren Wade, Terry (Tammy) Wade, Richard “Scooter” (Trisha) Wade, Shane Wade and Jared Wade all of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Sherri (Mike) Tuttle of Middlebourne, WV and Nina (Matt) Fleming of Akron, OH; grandson, Kristopher; one granddaughter, Harper and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 4-8 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 with burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
The family is asking that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
