Obituary for Mary Jo Price (Horner)
Mary Jo Price, 83, of Paden City, WV passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, June 11, 2022 while at Genesis New Martinsville.
Mary Jo was born January 12, 1939 in her grandmother’s home on Postlethwait Ridge daughter of the late Woodrow A. and Mary Lee (Young) Horner.
She was a homemaker, loved her grandbabies and was a member of the Paden City Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Price; daughter, Lisa Pittman; grandson, Phillip Clark II; infant brother, Gary Horner and sister, Barbara Shuman.
Surviving are her son, Brian (Debra) Price of Paden City, WV; three daughters, Karren Nolan of Beallsville, OH, Denise (Roger) Horton of Smyrna, TN and Jill (Phillip I) Clark of Paden City, WV; brother, Lemoyne Horner of Proctor, WV; three sisters, Martha Arrick and Sharon Henthorn both of New Martinsville, WV and Linda (Bob) Hix of Chicago, IL; son-in-law, Larry Pittman of Beallsville, OH; eleven grandchildren, Wendy, Garry Lee, Jonathan, Garrett, Nicklaus, Alex, Hannah, Brenna, Samuel, Isaac, and Rachel; eight great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022 Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Paden City Church of Christ. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.
