Obituary for Iona Faye Stillwagoner (Thomas)
Iona Faye Stillwagoner, 79, of New Martinsville, WV earned her wings and joined her beloved husband on Friday, June 17, 2022 while at her home surrounded by her family.
Faye was born December 23, 1942 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Ross and Estella (Harter) Thomas.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Stillwagoner; granddaughter, Darby Stillwagoner and three brothers, Carl, Junior and Melvin Thomas and three sisters, Beulah Pittman, Lottie Gaye Cochran and Florence Blatt.
Surviving are her two sons, Thomas Stillwagoner of Grand Bay, AL and Troy (Tammy) Stillwagoner of New Martinsville, WV; three daughters, Kathi (Matt) Ferrebee of Paden City, WV, Tammy Rine of Zanesville, OH and Tina Faye (Vince) Carrelli of Wheeling, WV; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; three special friends, Linda Doty, Mary Jung and Linda Plowman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022 with Paolo Di Luca officiating. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City.
