James “Jim” Andrew Richmond, 70, of Proctor, WV left this world on Friday, July 22, 2022 with his family near.
Jim was born March 27, 1952 in Moundsville, WV son of the late Floyd Ralph and Stephanie “Stella” (Mysliwiec) Richmond.
He was a retired Public Works Director for Moundsville, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping while spending time with family and friends at JK Richmond Campgrounds and was a member of the Moundsville Masonic Lodge No. 8.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-two years Karen (Heinzman) Richmond; five children, Rebecca (Brian) Baker of New Martinsville, WV, Melissa Richmond of Moundsville, WV, Lisa (Johnny) Jones of Wheeling, WV, Bill (Alison) Ferrell of Shinnston, WV and Jamie (Gary) Brandon of Shadyside, OH; brother Joseph (Peggy) Richmond of Moundsville, WV; ten grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke, Karlee, KayLynn, Leah, Gara, Pyper, Avery, Reese and Alayna; two great grandchildren, Xandria and Bry’Anna; nephew, Joseph (Loni) Richmond, II and favorite brown furry child, Cocoa.
Friends received 4-7 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville.
