Obituary for Roy Alfred Arman

Roy Alfred Arman, 88, of New Martinsville, WV left this world on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at his home while surrounded by his family.

Roy was born January 5, 1934 in Hannibal, OH son of the late Harold Lee and Eileen (Eddy) Arman.

He was a 1952 graduate of Hannibal High School, a U.S. Army veteran, founder and owner of the former Bilroy Construction Company, ran Trial Dogs, coached the New Martinsville Men’s Fast Pitch softball and manager of the girl’s Diamond Queen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Ronnie Parr and in-laws, George and Elizabeth Wetzel.

Surviving is his wife of sixty-seven years, Melba (Wetzel) Arman; three children, Greg (Tammy) Arman of Zellwood, FL, Brian (Barb) Arman of Hannibal, OH and Dana (Robbie) Howell of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Jessica, Dustin, Kayla, Casey (Alisia), Paige (Jen), Megan (Zach), Brandon (Jamie), Chelsea and Ethan; thirteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alta Haudenshilt; brother-in-law, George (Kay) Wetzel, Jr.; special niece, Pam Haudenshilt; special friend, Gary Bonar and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial to take place in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
