Obituary for Daniel Earl Hartwig
Daniel Earl Hartwig, 48, of Hamlet, NC formerly of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, August 29, 2022 while at the Richmond County Hospice Center.
Danny was born July 11, 1974 in New Martinsville, WV son of Diana George Miller and the late Daryl Hartwig and his widow, Crystal Hartwig of New Martinsville, WV.
He was a graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 1992, enjoyed playing video games, working on cars, listening to classic rock and working on puzzles and he was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving in addition to his mother and step-mother are three brothers, Damon Scott Hartwig of Wadesboro, NC, Daryl S. (Diana) Hartwig of New Martinsville, WV and Ritchie Yoho of Wadesboro, NC; uncle, Gary (Linda) Hartwig of New Martinsville, WV; four aunts, Ruthie (Charlie) Howell and Winnie Lowe both of Pine Grove, WV, Connie Sorsby of New Martinsville, WV and Lisa (Jim) Stackpole of Middlebourne, WV; uncle, Patrick Christen of New Martinsville, WV; nephew, Austin Hartwig; two nieces, Emma Hartwig and Nicole Turner and several cousins.
Friends received 1-8 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where the service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022 with military honors to be held at Northview Cemetery after the funeral.
