Obituary for Ray Dewayne Yoho

Ray Dewayne Yoho, 46, of Proctor, WV left this world on Thursday, September 1, 2022 while at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

Ray was born September 3, 1975, in Glen Dale, WV son of Roy F. and Darlene J. (Anderson) Yoho of Proctor, WV.

He was a minister having preached at The Church in Florida, graduate of a lumber grading school in Memphis, TN, he loved riding his buggy, being with his grandbabies, working as a carpenter, reading his Bible, listening to other preachers preach and telling everyone about the Lord. Ray was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Moundsville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ocenia and Ben Ebert and paternal grandparents, Roy and Clara Yoho.

Surviving in addition to his parents, is his wife of four and a half years, Jennifer (Vanderwyst) Yoho; son, Logan (Ashley) Yoho of Proctor, WV; daughter, Baylee (Tiara Bassett) Yoho of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Bub (Stacey) Yoho of Proctor, WV; grandbabies, Ryker, Alayna, Grayson and baby Yoho due in February 2023; uncle, Lawrence (Doris) Yoho of Moundsville, WV and several other family members.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2022 with Pastor Larry Jenkins officiating. Burial to follow in The Parson and Yoho Cemetery in Proctor, WV.
