Obituary for Betty Jo Bohrer (McCollough)
Betty Jo Bohrer, 88, of New Martinsville, WV died Friday, September 16, 2022, while at Genesis New Martinsville.
Betty Jo was born March 6, 1934, in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Beryl Thomas and Dorothy Mae McCollough. She was a member of the Steelton Church of Christ. Betty Jo enjoyed working and worked several jobs, PPG in the lab, Riggenbach Tile & Carpet and Ace Hardware.
Surviving is her beloved husband of sixty-seven years, Roland “Rollie” F. Bohrer; son, Michael (Tina) Bohrer of Sardis, OH; daughter, Terri (Andrew) Snyder of Davis, WV; three grandchildren, Leah Kay (Nick) Senecal of Powell, OH, Shyla Bohrer of Columbus, OH and Hannah Snyder of Davis, WV; two great grandchildren, Hayden and Raegan Senecal of Powell, OH.
Betty Jo was a loving and caring person always there to help when needed. She loved spending time with her family, working jigsaw puzzles, talking and watching her birds, especially Hummingbirds.
Friends received 4-7 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022, at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the Steelton Church of Christ with Paul Pryor officiating. Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
