Obituary for Patricia Ruth "Patti" Casteel (Shaw)
Patricia “Patti” Ruth Casteel, 85, of Paden City, WV was reunited with her husband on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
Patti was born August 1, 1937, in Fairmont, WV daughter of the late Dallas and Phoebe Shaw.
She was a homemaker, had worked as a cashier for the former A&P Grocery Store, graduated from Fairmont West High School, loved working in her yard and cooking. Patti was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Paden City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn “Bob” Casteel; two sons, Steven Casteel and Marc “Rick” Casteel and two sisters, Christine and Carol.
Surviving is her son, Jeffery (Rosemary) Casteel of Morgantown, WV; daughter, Keristin (Tom) Vasnus of Elizabeth City, WV; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many friends and neighbors.
Friends received noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
