Obituary for Roger Dale Midcap
Roger Dale Midcap, 75, of New Martinsville, WV passed away peacefully on February 23, 2023 with his family by his side at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, OH.
He was born on September 6, 1947, in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Dale and Audrey (Lancaster) Midcap.
He was a retired employee of Corning Glass/World Kitchen with thirty-six years of service, attended the Immanuel Baptist Church, he served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Martha Stewart Midcap; daughter, Belinda (Mike) Jeffries of Follansbee, WV; son, Roger (Tina) Midcap II of New Martinsville, WV; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Mickey) Midcap of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Linda (Jess) Jackson of New Martinsville, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received noon – 4 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2023. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery with military honors conducted at the cemetery.
