Obituary for Patricia Lois "Pat" Amos
Patricia Lois Amos, 84, of Middlebourne, WV passed from this world on Thursday, March 2, 2023 while at Mon General Hospital.
Patricia was born August 10, 1938, in Canonsburg, PA daughter of the late Clarence and Opal (Anderson) Scyoc.
She was a retired analyst for PPG Industries with thirty-nine years of service, member of New Martinsville Women of the Moose Lodge #931, enjoyed cooking and gardening, loved playing euchre with friends and family, looked forward to luncheons with her retired co-workers once a month and was a member of the Middlebourne Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Amos (2022); daughter, Lisa Hoover and sister, Velma King.
Surviving are two sons, Marc (Babe) Hoover of Moorefield, WV and Byrne (Bobbi) Hoover of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Carla (Jim) Farrell of Cowen, WV; two grandchildren, Amber Hoover and Marissa Hoover; three great grandchildren, Caleb, Seth and Aizik and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
