Obituary for Carolyn Mae Lloyd
Carolyn Mae Lloyd, 87, of Proctor, WV died Friday, March 3, 2023, while at Camden Clark Hospital.
Carolyn was born at home July 17, 1935, in Smithfield, WV daughter of the late Ocie and Opal (Phipps) Bonnell.
She was a homemaker, graduate of Smithfield High School, loved animals, going to yard sales and painting pretty pictures.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Lloyd and son, Les Lloyd.
Surviving are her children, Victor “Buzz” Lloyd of Proctor, WV and Jessica “Jayne” Lloyd of Parkersburg, WV; three grandchildren, James Nichols, Michael and Holly.
At her request there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wetzel County Animal Shelter, 399 Mollohan Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
