Obituary for Vivian M Parks (Martin)
Vivian Parks, 86, of New Martinsville, WV peacefully passed at her home on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
She was born December 17, 1936, in Hastings, WV daughter of the late Howard and Gertie (Rexroad) Martin.
Vivian was a homemaker, worked for Mountain Craft Toys, volunteered with Grandview Ambulance Squad for over forty-six years, currently serving on the Wetzel County Ambulance Authority Board and past 4-H Leader.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-nine years, Kenneth Parks; three daughters, Victoria Alexander of Blue Rock, Ohio; Karla Griffin (Merwin) of New Matamoras, Ohio and Velvet Parks (Jeff Underwood ) of Proctor, WV. Vivian’s love, her grandchildren: Adrienne Griffin Forni (Glenn), and Derek Griffin of New Matamoras, Ohio; Elli Alexander of Blue Rock, Ohio; Grant Thockmorton (Jennifer) of Proctor, WV. Her great grand children include: Jensen and Grady Throckmorton and Audra Forni. Vivian is also survived by her sister, Freda Cunningham of Reader, WV and brother Don Martin of Piney, WV.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville. Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in New Martinsville.
