Obituary for Sharon K. Wade (Dobbs)
Sharon Kay Wade, 75, of New Martinsville, WV died suddenly Thursday, April 20, 2023, while in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Sharon was born December 24, 1947, in Glen Dale, West Virginia daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Janice N. (Yoho) Dobbs.
She was a retired desk clerk for the Plaza Inn, graduate of Magnolia High School, loving Mom and Nanny, enjoyed helping people, loved spending time with her grandchildren and all cats. Sharon received a lot of enjoyment from watching television and was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She was proud to have helped raise two grandsons, Cody and Zack. She was a Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Wade; grandson, Bo Evan Loy; step-father, Bernard Haudenschilt and brother, Jay Dobbs.
Surviving are her three children, Cory (Teresa) Wade, Alisa Loy and Paige Wade all of New Martinsville, WV; five grandchildren, Justin (Katelin) Wade, Michael Wade, Logan Wade, Cody Loy and Zack Loy; great granddaughter, Addi Raye Wade; sister-in-law, Kathy Dobbs of Waxhall, NC; brother, Dave (Paula) Haudenschilt; two sisters, Pamela Haudenschilt and Cathy (Perry) Sears; a special young lady that she loved like a daughter, Diamond Austin; special friend, Randy Loy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV.
