Obituary for Norma Jean Cumberledge (Beegle)
Norma Jean Cumberledge, 85, of Paden City, WV left this world peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, while surrounded by her family.
Norma was born November 7, 1937, in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Russell and Myrtle (Eastham) Beegle.
She and Dale lived in Jackson County for thirty-three years and raised their four children there. Then they moved to Paden City and lived there for thirty years. Norma Jean was an active member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ in New Martinsville. She was a homemaker, participated in TOPS, proud of her passport which she used for traveling, enjoyed helping people and was a grandma to everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Cumberledge and two brothers, Edgar and Leroy Beegle.
Surviving is her husband of sixty-five years, Dale L. Cumberledge; two son, Eddie (Ruth Ann) Cumberledge of Summersville, WV and James Cumberledge of Ravenswood, WV; daughter, Mary Van (George) Roush of Ravenswood, WV; daughter-in-law, Shelly Cumberledge of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV.

Burial in the Wilding Cemetery near Ravenswood, WV at the convenience of the family.
