Obituary for Nile Dean "Jack" Harris
Nile “Jack” Dean Harris, 89, of Middlebourne, WV left this world on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 while at the Arbors in Woodsfield.
Nile was born March 14, 1934, in Middlebourne, WV son of the late William Everett and Clara Marie (Eastham) Harris.
He was a retired Electric Engineer, obtained his Bachelor’s degree from University of Alabama, a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Veryl “Jake” Harris, Elaine Mason, Onward “Bud” Harris, Loren “Bill” Harris and Glenna “Toot” Horstman.
Surviving is his brother, Freddie Harris of Tallahassee, FL; three sisters, JoAnne “Jody” Coyne of Weirton, WV, Carolyn “Andi” Coyne of Valencia, CA and Donna Kay Tokash of Weirton, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Military rites will be conducted at Greenlawn Memorial Park at the end of the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931, 180 North Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
